- Accepted image codecs are JPEG, PNG, WebP, TIFF, and HEIC/HEIF. HEIC/HEIF and TIFF are decoded by the bundled local image engine, so no browser HEIC support is required.
- PDF is accepted as a source and is rendered in the browser from page 1 only. A multi-page PDF is not stitched, merged, or re-ordered; the remaining pages are ignored. Password-protected files must be unlocked first.
- One poster is made from one image or one PDF page. Grand Print is not a document tool: it does not compose several files onto a canvas.
- Output options are a raster multi-page PDF, a coordinate-named JPG ZIP, and a direct JPG for the 1:1 square canvas.
- Limits are multidimensional and device-dependent; Grand Print does not promise universal success by compressed file size alone.
